An extra special speaker – Wattled Cranes
An extra special speaker, Tanya Smith, from Howick in KZN, an acknowledged expert on Wattled Cranes has been working on Cranes for some 5 years specialising on Wattled Cranes and Wetlands. Her work as a Researcher with the Endangered Wildlife Trust’s African Crane Project will bring her to Wakkerstroom next week and she has very kindly offered to give the Bird Club a talk on these iconic birds.
Tanya will be talking to us on Wednesday, 10th July, at BirdLife Center. The time for this is 17h30 for 18h00. Please join us and bring your friends. This is an opportunity not to be missed.
